1. If you cancel
You can cancel a booking from your account. What you get back depends on how close to the experience date you cancel:
- •7 or more days before the experience: full refund, including the conservation levy.
- •Between 7 days and 48 hours before: 50% refund of the booking total.
- •Within 48 hours of the start, or a no-show: no refund.
2. If the operator cancels
If an operator cancels your experience — because of weather, safety, park closure or any other reason — you receive a full refund of everything you paid, including the conservation levy, or a free move to another date if you prefer.
3. Significant changes
If the date, duration or core content of an experience changes materially after you book, you may cancel for a full refund, as long as you tell us before the experience starts.
4. How refunds are paid
Refunds are returned to the original card through Stripe. Once approved, they usually appear within 5 to 10 business days, depending on your bank.
We can only refund to the original payment method. We cannot refund to a different card or account.
5. What is not refundable
- •Experiences you attended but were unhappy with, where the operator delivered what was described — please raise it with us and we will mediate.
- •Bookings resold or transferred outside VUNARA.
- •Cancellations made after the experience has started.
6. Payments that go wrong
If you were charged but your booking did not confirm, contact us with the date and amount and we will trace the payment with Stripe. Confirmed payments are never lost — if the payment succeeded, the booking is confirmed automatically.
If you believe you were charged twice, or charged an amount different from the price shown at checkout, tell us and we will investigate and correct it.
7. Your statutory rights
Nothing in this policy reduces any right you have under the consumer law of your own country. Where local law gives you a stronger refund right, that right applies.
